CounterPoint is a complete retail management solution that adapts to the way you do business. From robust point-of-sale ticket entry and inventory management to integrated purchasing, customer tracking, and reporting.

Built-in ecommerce capabilities are compatible with CPOnline, a web-hosting and ecommerce service from Radiant, designed especially to provide online stores for CounterPoint merchants.

CPOnline is a monthly service that is suitable for merchants of all sizes. With CPOnline, you can publish your inventory information to your online store, electronically uploading item numbers, descriptions, images, prices, and quantities. Shoppers place orders online, and the orders are transmitted electronically to CounterPoint for fulfillment.

CPOnline is a unique and unparalleled ecommerce solution that lets you use CounterPoint to activate an online store with minimal effort and expense.

Shoppers order merchandise in your online store, and orders are transmitted electronically and imported into CounterPoint for fullfillment.

Capabilities

CPOnline capabilities include:
  • A complete Web site and shopping cart
  • Electronic uploading of CounterPoint inventory and customers into your online store
  • Real-time credit card authorizations with CPGateway
  • Secure importing of new orders and new customers into CounterPoint
  • Ability to define special member pricing, member-only items, and customer-specific discounts
  • Online account access where shoppers can view their order status (A/R charge customers can also view their available credit and account status)
  • Automatic email notification to shoppers when orders are shipped
  • Built-in marketing tools, include Froogle Data Transfer, eNewsletters, Promotional Discounts, Tell-A-Friend, Affiliate Program, and more
  • Easy-to-use Store Management Web site where you can maintain and configure your online store

Select a user-configurable template for your online store, or develop a custom template using your own designers or Radiant design staff (on a fee basis).

 

Requirements

Ecommerce functions are built into CounterPoint. Credit card processing under the CounterPoint Merchant Program is part of the CounterPoint Base System. Additional processors are available with the Credit Cards Option.

The only requirements for CPOnline are a CounterPoint system, a Windows workstation with Internet access, and a Web browser.

Security

Security is provided through SSL, an industry standard that employs the latest 128-bit encryption technology to encrypt sensitive information—like your customers' names and credit card numbers—for safe transfer over the Internet.
